Both of New Mexico’s senators are co-sponsoring a resolution pushing for a comprehensive human rights report on Israeli violence in the occupied West Bank. Sens. Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján are joining more than 20 Democrats in demanding a report from the State Department detailing the abuse of Palestinian children detained by Israeli forces and investigating cases of American citizens killed by Israeli settlers or military since 2022.
