There are over 300 people held at the Torrance County Detention Facility, and many face ongoing issues with medical care, food access, and facility operations. TCDF is a private ICE detention center south of Albuquerque. Tiffany Wang, a lawyer with Contigo Justice says people inside often don’t get timely medical care or enough food. She and a team of volunteers visit every week to offer legal help, but sometimes the facility makes it hard to even get inside.
